Can't help it... it's a huge part of my life. If I wasn't busy with MCM, I'd probably be a member of a music forum somewhere...

Anyway, a big story in today's paper (Tribune) about the fact that Christine McVie has decided to come out of "retirement" and rejoin Fleetwood Mac on their upcoming tour. Apparently she saw a shrink who managed to get her to overcome her fear of flying, which was a big part of the reason she decided to leave the band (and touring) about 15 years ago. She and Lindsey Buckingham have been busy writing a whole slew of new material, much of which will appear on the new upcoming FM album. Seeing as how Christine wrote many of FM's biggest hits, this is pretty good news in my world!

I personally liked Fleetwood Mac much better before those two joined the band. Search and listen the the early blues Fleetwood Mac, I think you'll be glad you did.

Bing bing bing bing !!! I just noticed the new face. Middle name Lillis? Who woulda thunk it?

I wonder how the new Fleetwood Mac will sound relative to the old one. Should be interesting.

And I honestly prefer the version of FM Craig mentions too.

If you guys are talking about FM before Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks, way back in the beginning, back in the Peter Green days, yeah, they were a completely different animal then.

Yea two completely different bands. Rumors is one of my favorite albums. and Never Going Back Again is my favorite song from the album
