crazyjim Posted May 22, 2014 Author Posted May 22, 2014 Thanks Jonathan. HOK makes some real nice paint.

crazyjim Posted May 22, 2014 Author Posted May 22, 2014 Thank you Al. When I was kid a neighbor had one that he used every day. Then it just sat for years in his yard. If only I'd known then.
realgone58 Posted May 22, 2014 Posted May 22, 2014 Awesome build Jim! Color looks good and the wheels are great on this one! I really like the last shot outdoors in the partial sun. Very cool.
Agent G Posted May 23, 2014 Posted May 23, 2014 Gorgeous! That car in stock form was such a homely lil bugger, it's amazing how good you make it look. That's talent. G
crazyjim Posted May 23, 2014 Author Posted May 23, 2014 Thank you all very much for the kind comments.
Ramfins59 Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 That really looks great Jim. It's nice to see this car done as a "street car".
crazyjim Posted May 24, 2014 Author Posted May 24, 2014 Thank you very much guys. Yeah Chris. If it ain't SHINY, you're just dull.
Ira Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Looks Great Jim! Real Nice Paint. My first car was a Henry J...
crazyjim Posted May 24, 2014 Author Posted May 24, 2014 Thank you Ira. Did you do anything to your Henry J or leave it stock?
peekay Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 Like the concept and it's very nicely done. And I love "un-gasser" - have you coined a phrase?
Brett Barrow Posted May 24, 2014 Posted May 24, 2014 (edited) Thank you Al. When I was kid a neighbor had one that he used every day. Then it just sat for years in his yard. If only I'd known then. One of my neighbors has a Henry J with Americans that he used to drive pretty often, but I haven't seen it move for a couple years. It's in grey primer with a black fiberglass front end and the wheels are dull, but it's still a bad looking ride. Your excellent model has a very similar stance, it's pretty much what his would look like cleaned up and painted. Edited May 24, 2014 by Brett Barrow
crazyjim Posted May 24, 2014 Author Posted May 24, 2014 Thank you Peter. I don't think it's a new phrase, but I might be using it again on some future builds. Thanks Brett. What a bummer with your neighbor. I don't understand how people can let cars sit and rot away.

What a bummer with your neighbor. I don't understand how people can let cars sit and rot away. I think he pulled the motor and put it into another car. He also has a really cool shorty 56 Chevy station wagon that I think is running the Americans now, he might have dropped the motor into that.
DeeCee Posted May 25, 2014 Posted May 25, 2014 It's cool, it's tuff, it is BAD ASS, and a very nice color too, great job i reckon.
