Thank you Al. When I was kid a neighbor had one that he used every day. Then it just sat for years in his yard. If only I'd known then.

Awesome build Jim! Color looks good and the wheels are great on this one! I really like the last shot outdoors in the partial sun. Very cool.

Gorgeous!

That car in stock form was such a homely lil bugger, it's amazing how good you make it look.

That's talent.

One of my neighbors has a Henry J with Americans that he used to drive pretty often, but I haven't seen it move for a couple years. It's in grey primer with a black fiberglass front end and the wheels are dull, but it's still a bad looking ride. Your excellent model has a very similar stance, it's pretty much what his would look like cleaned up and painted.

Thank you Peter. I don't think it's a new phrase, but I might be using it again on some future builds.

Thanks Brett. What a bummer with your neighbor. I don't understand how people can let cars sit and rot away.

I think he pulled the motor and put it into another car. He also has a really cool shorty 56 Chevy station wagon that I think is running the Americans now, he might have dropped the motor into that.
