mistermodel Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 In the late sixties freightliner made the first factory double bunk trucks. I received a well stocked freightliner junkyard box in a trade so I'm building a replica of the first large cars. cab stretched to 104 inch Drivers side roughed in. Lowered headlights to correct position, cab height reduced and wheel opening changed. Please ignore incorrect step opening Passenger side kit stock to show difference photo of prototype
Mackvision Posted June 7, 2014 Posted June 7, 2014 Nice! my next project will be a White-Freightliner C.O.E. replica of my dads 1:1,the Vanliner did make it into production and were REALLY popular with movers because of the added room/cabspace........................Mark
DodgeAddict Posted June 22, 2014 Posted June 22, 2014 I thought about doing that to a Freightliner cab I git in a BY deal Looks like you have a great start
