In the late sixties freightliner made the first factory double bunk trucks. I received a well stocked freightliner junkyard box in a trade so I'm building a replica of the first large cars.

cab stretched to 104 inch

Drivers side roughed in. Lowered headlights to correct position, cab height reduced and wheel opening changed. Please ignore incorrect step opening

Nice! my next project will be a White-Freightliner C.O.E. replica of my dads 1:1,the Vanliner did make it into production and were REALLY popular with movers because of the added room/cabspace........................Mark
