I stood on the step of that truck & looked in it while at PE over 30 years ago when we were there buying a leftover engine (a short track engine) & other leftover stuff from this car We still have the short block

I picked these up to help do this build The end result will be all you see in this pic

I got the JoHan S&M Cuda off ebay complete with cut out door & wheels turned by bending a steel axle Great parts though for other builds

I scored these two today at HobbyLobby the transporter was 40% off The Charger is the first of many yet to be gotten like it

These three cars will become other cars in my life diorama the Vinyl top car in the middle going Hemi orange with a black top & 69' grille 340/4 Speed The others one race, one street Hemi Race

I paint the chassis flat black & then come back with the gloss white thinned out & applying heavy with a brush & it gives it close to the original look for the bottom side of a Mopar as it left the factory with undercoat delete

I've been doing seven day spurts on my work project & haven't had much time for my Darts but managed to gather another set of slicks & wheels as well as some other S/S Dart only stuff off Ebay

Tubbs stepped up again & has the distinction of being the first to be on both lists He's made fourth spot on both too! Thanks Al

I thought about doing that to a Freightliner cab I git in a BY deal Looks like you have a great start

The Cab kit to build their trucks is $110 each or I would have already planned for them as you can buy the cars to put on them

It's funny that some one besides me has noticed that That's why I have tried a few different cabs with this bed The best fit came from a last issue cab from 2000 or so

Thanks Tom I need to build them identical now so the sleeper cab will go back to it's original project & the two cabs that I'm trading for will be used on them with a revised sleeper plan that is more era fitting Something like the one offered for the C600 Ford in resin

These trucks have now become the transporters for these http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=89540 But here are some of the pics from the construction & will show what the only flaw & the fix in the donor Ford kit The dark spot on the frame is where I had to heat it to correct it Of the three I have opened, two have had this problem Here it is with the frame painted & axle installed
