  1. Here's an update on the progress & a shout out of thanks to jrherald420 for the hoods & midnightprowler for the rest of what you see in the pic below jrherald420 also hooked me up with 68 Super Stock Charger hood that I'll have to build a car for now
  2. Another added
  3. The member fell through with the deal on the cab but scale trucker came through with a resin rear suspension so construction will move ahead & I'm sure a L700 cab will find it's way to me sooner or later I had one come the other week but it will go to a project that's much further along to completion I still haven't found a trailer that has the right siding yet
  4. I loves me some Dodge trucks but like you I think this Ford is cool too I have a liking for some bump side Ford though Had one for a DD for a minute Thinking about buying it back & putting a 98' 360 in it with a 518 OD
  5. Brayden , I rode through a whole set of tires with a guy who drifted a Yota like that with a Nissan engine in it one Saturday night a while back I'm going to send him a link to your build I think he'll find it to be really cool like I do You've inspired me to do a Dodge D50 Drift truck when I start my next batch of builds
  6. The LWB Dodge to me is better suited for regular 2WD & 4WD with the gazillion LRE trucks out there I figured sacrificing one of the 10 or so new ones I have to make a good LWB wasn't hurting anything
  7. The cutting of the blocks is happening soon The front is coming down some too
  8. Thank you If it were one that had the mouldings on it I would do silver in the center with a red interior Most likely get a hitch, trailer & race car too
  9. Here's the LWB Monster as a 2WD with LRE suspension,tires,wheels & engine
  10. There was a Ebay vendor who listed 3 or 4 of the Monster Dodge trucks & big 4WD model & having lost another Dodge truck due to me being a Scotsman I figured that I'd set my high bid on $17.50 each & see where that went I won this for $9.00, another friend won one too for $17.95 ( I told him he better check with me before bidding) No being one to sport another man's build as mine It quickly fell apart The suspension is fitted to a LRE chassis so there will now be a Monster Dodge Warlock The LWB Monster Dodge without stripes on it's way to 2WD
  11. Addendum
  12. I usually preorder 4 or more at a time & I am glad I waited this time My budget is blown out on my models anyway & that $$$$ can go toward getting some of my real Mopars home
  13. I'm making a list of materials to buy to finish all my custom builds that I'm doing When I get them I'll be on the build for at least 12 projects to get them to paint I'm stopped on some till I decide what Evergreen stuff I'm buying My hardest decision is what colors to paint them all
  14. Thanks for all the replies another member here has turned me on to a supplier for some of the parts I need
  15. Another great trade
  16. I bet I have a hauler in mind for that
  17. Thanks! I love dem Mopars too! I'll probably take them to the lake to get some good quality time with them (I work at the lake)
  18. In my chair I leaned back one evening & was staring at the Hemi Dart sitting on it & thought I know what I'll do with those two (I was thinking of the two L700 transporters I have started) & soon I had dug out 5 Dart kits & 3 Barracuda kits The teams as it stands now will be 68 440 A/T Dart 68 426 A/T Dart 68 426 M/T Dart & 69 A12 RoadRunner 69 426 A/T Barracuda 69 426 M/T Barracuda Here's some of the pics so far Here's the other transporter with the same Dart The sleeper setup will be different on the other transporter Here's some of the cars so far The two Hemi Darts are mini tubbed with the springs relocated the same way as Mopar said to interiors built & suspensions built Here's one of the Barracudas More pics as the parts & builds come closer together
  19. My hat is off to you! Those are bad to the bone !
  20. Thanks Ben! I use AMT wheels do you have tires for them?
  21. I like where you're going with this
  22. Progress will be slow because of my increased working out of town but the $$$ made will help finance the builds that I've committed to along with this one I'll be buying 3 of the LS1000 cabs & at least 2 of the CNT cabs along with a ModelHaus Sweptline CrewCab I figure the 72-4 MPC NASCAR Charger chassis will fit this & be closest to correct for the build I have Kit Car engines & trans for a powerplant & backup in the trailer
  23. Thanks! It's going to be quite a build
  24. When you decide which color you do I'll do the other so both can be represented & folks will learn You're so right about the bulges I had to work the edges of the hood & trim a bunch of BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH just to get the hood to sit flat & have good gaps I had to sand the inside edges of the fenders too Thank's for the tip on the book. I had every Stock Car Racing magazine from the early 70's till RP stepped out of the Magnum I'll look for that book though for sure
