Just a couple pics. I've already started the frame & laid out almost all the box for the 72-74 Petty transporter I posted a question on a Mopar forum & a member there posted the pic with the Magnum & offered up the body & asked if I would build it & the transporter I saw them as a teenager in person But was so high on just being in the presence of the pair I don't remember much about the truck & trailer

I've got a resin 78 Dodge Magnum body that I'm going to build as a Petty car & build the transporter as well The grille already has the Nascar style mesh I need a 72-4 Dodge Charger Nascar chassis to do this

While I was hunting pics for details for a build I stumbled upon this pic of TV Tommy Ivo's twin axle L700 transporter & having that love for the L700 I knew I had to at least try to build it GLMFAA1 sent me two FireTruck frames to which when I get the decals done his name will be listed as a crewmember Here's one of the long FireTruck frames he sent with my L700 mockup cab fitted & front axle relocated Here's the difference in the wheelbase of the two I lengthened the inner wheel housings using parts that had been cut off my FireTruck HaulerHome

That's a great display Years back I did kinda the same thing with limited space & displayed my different tractors with HaulAway & Transporter trailers filled with cars & trucks

Jt they're really straight forward pieces just the frame is jacked up The first one wasn't real bad but the second on I had to put heat to it was really screwed The third I haven't opened yet it will get a resin Dodge LS1000 cab

Mark, the tire thing had me scratching my head for dates & after reading your reply I'd have to agree with you 100% Revell stuff doesn't seem to stand the test of time certain colors of AMT & MPC doesn't either when it comes to chrome it seems

From 1958 up to 94 I think is when production actually started & stopped around the world the cab being used by Mack & some others around the world too IIRC
