  1. Thanks Jesse, I try to use all I can from old models
  2. Thanks, there's a big rig wrecker planned using a BigHorn cab kit on the AMT Peterbilt wrecker
  3. In drawing up plans in my mind for my diorama I knew I needed a towing company that consisted of Dodges So I combined the Revell GMC Wrecker kits with these two Dodges Build pics coming soon
  4. One car with storage & sleeping room for the whole team Blacked out areas in middle & front are windows with the rear open air This spot here will have a sink in it the holes below storage for cooking utensils there's a window there! The cabinet doors will be made from tread plate Plans are for a MPC "FireFighter" Dodge truck done as mud drag truck,36 Chevy Modified & "Red Alert" Chevelle Drag car (in honor of a FireFighter friend) to share this truck as a team
  5. Thanks Alan It is going to be different for sure with an AeroDyne roof section in it & a "Wild BigHorn" on the back sitting on a "SuperBoss" Chassis with the Aero parts from the same kit
  6. Yes that's the one. Can you picture it with the wings from the "SuperBoss" on it I want to do a Petty Enterprises LS tow rig (the one with the open car trailer behind it from the early 70's) & do a original MPC Petty Charger to go on its trailer
  7. Thanks guys! I started building one before the other but when another L700 came in the mail I started the second one Here's the first mockup pic with the chassis original wheelbase It has at least a 3/4" gap with this cab/sleeper combo Now here's chassis #2 with a relocated axle This one will be the Drag Car one & #1 being configured more for roundy round
  8. Here's the cab kit for the transporter http://www.aitruckmodels.com/pages/ck130dodgels1000.html
  9. I figured that after seeing a resin Dodge LS1000 cab kit & a good resin BigHorn Dodge kit that I would do "Tyrone Malone" Dodge style using my new "HideOut Truck" & a LS cab kit & do the "Bighorn" on my "SuperBoss" kit I built the chassis stock converting a Revell modern looking radial tire to the AMT rims I'm ordering cabs in a month or so when I decide just really how many I want for now
  10. Ever since the early 70's I've been infatuated with the IMC Dodges & saw a thread on Moparts about "Vintage Car Haulers" in the race section Then I knew I needed to buy more of these To build these
  11. What better way to build a started kit that's missing pieces & using old plastic from others to do it The first pic shows how far I got until realizing there were more than the instructions missing & red lenses At this point I was decided that my diorama will have a "FireHouse Race Team" to honor the Gearhead FireFighters This build is done using almost all repurposed plastic from other vintage kits More coming later Thanks for looking!
  12. Stopped in to say Hi! Been building models for 43 years now Bob
