Through the recent events that I'm going through my wife picked up this kit for me today and so decided to start this, picks coming soon

Here are the pictures of the kit that my wife bought me, going to cut doors open as well as parts box wheels just haven't decided on wheels yet so let's get into the pictures!

Surgery is going kinda slow hope to be done before I call it a night lol

Didn't realize how thick the upper side of the door was so thick

Be careful and don't break a blade. When the blade breaks, the sudden release in pressure can cause an accident and you could bleed all over the model, the instructions, the desk and maybe even your lap.

It's not important how I know this.

That's one thing I still like about AMT kits is the body and parts are still thick...

The bottom of the door was pretty thin but I'm now just getting that line all the way through,yes I did take breaks from cutting it just so I don't break something out of anger I have also done a little work on the engine which I will be posting pics of that up soon

My modeling might be slowing down, going to be starting my own business up in the automotive repair business for the old muscle cars will try to work on models when I can

Thats a good start, my theory is, " cut first, THEN worry about how you are going to make it work", because if you think too hard before you cut, you usually end up NOT cutting.

Lol yea need to fix front window corner, broke it by accident

Drivers door is now cut out and has had some putty slung onto the marks from the blade and sanded smooth, need to get some styrene to begin making the door jams,going to see if my buddy has a dremel I can use to cut the door panels out of the interior tub. Will post pics up in the morning.
