DynoMight Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Hello, I decided that I'm going to work on this when I get bored of the Nomad project. The kit is the Ferrari 312T3 by Entex (I have no idea who they are... I think they're a British company, not sure) Here are the front and rear wheel to this kit, they're okay. The wing had 6 injector marks on it so I filled them in and sanded them down. Next I sanded the body and the top of the chassis. (not pictured, only the front splitter) Then I primed it. Thanks for looking, more updates coming soon. -Glenn
DynoMight Posted June 12, 2014 Author Posted June 12, 2014 The primer came out horrible. So I left in Simple Green for a couple hours and let it soak and striped the paint off. I'll be re-primering it tomorrow, with a different primer this time.

You just might prevent a newer builder from having the same bad experience as you had. I've never had any experience with Entex models, but this looks like it has a lot of potential. I'll be interested to see how yours turns out.
imatt88 Posted June 16, 2014 Posted June 16, 2014 Glenn, I had no idea Entex did a 312T. I know they made a 1/8th scale Lotus that fetches ungodly money on eBay.. What scale is yours? This looks interesting, for sure. I'm working on a 1/12th Tamiya Lotus right now, and there is much body work to be done... Keep posting those pics... Cheers, Ian

This is a 1/25 model, I also have a Lotus '79 (1/25) as well. I got them both for $25 at a train show... These kits are both a little over 6 inches long....
