hpiguy Posted October 18, 2019 Posted October 18, 2019 I happened to enjoy mine but I don't know enough about GTOs to think it's 'Junk' like others here do.
stavanzer Posted October 18, 2019 Posted October 18, 2019 Casey, That is indeed a very nice decal sheet.
1972coronet Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 hpi guy ( Chris ) seems to have built a convincing -- and quite lovely -- version from the latest release : Yes , I'm well aware of the shortcomings of this long-in-the-tooth kit ; however , many of its additions seem to be worth the price of admission ( nice decals , nice tyres , nice slicks , and that cool 'Christmas Tree' )
Deuces Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 Needs Torq-Thrust mags....? Nice build!!!!!..... ??
Snake45 Posted October 19, 2019 Posted October 19, 2019 If HL gets them and I can get it for 40% off, I'll pick one up just for the Christmas tree and decal sheet.
Deuces Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 I could use those and the redlines..... Maybe even the blower assembly for one of my Revell '66 GTO kits.....
stavanzer Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 Guido, I'd not use the blower in the MPC/Round2 '67 kit. It is a blurry, soft, blob. I'd use the one out of the Revell '64 GTO.
Deuces Posted October 20, 2019 Posted October 20, 2019 Yeah, but that one is 1/24 scale..... Thanks for your input!.... ?
gtx6970 Posted November 1, 2019 Posted November 1, 2019 I guess I'm lucky. I have an original issue 67 GTO hardtop, as well as an original issue 1966 GTO convertible
