freakshow12 Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Nice work. I have one that I took 4mm out below the belt line and filled all the wood sections. Added 37 ford fender tops and headlight buckets. Changed the look quite a bit
crazyjim Posted July 1, 2014 Author Posted July 1, 2014 Thanks Fred. Your build sounds interesting. Can you post a pic?
rmvw guy Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Looks good Jim. This is the first one of these I have ever seen, if my memory is working. Who makes the kit or is it a resin body? Anyway, looks good, I love a Woody. Just saw a Packard Woody on " What's my Car Worth?" It went for $75,000.
crazyjim Posted July 2, 2014 Author Posted July 2, 2014 Thanks guys. It's the Revell '39 Wagon Rod kit, Ron. Very nice kit.
Roncla Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Nice job, great color. I like the proportions of the kit, I just don't like the headlights. I've tried to figure out a way to change them when I get around to building my kit. Anyone out there have any suggestions? Raul_Perez did a build of this kit and moved the headlights up... http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=34926&hl=%2Bslightly+%2Baltered+%2Bwagon+%2Brod
crazyjim Posted July 3, 2014 Author Posted July 3, 2014 I like what what Raul did with the headlights and taillights.
