clear coating question..

Hey guys just wondering when its best to apply clear coat. .I painted my car about 4 days ago was wondering should I bmf and apply decals before or after or after clearing. Also what should be done before clearing..been many many years since I last built anything. The paint was a very old can of testors enamel it sprayed well just a little orange peel otherwise ok

You can clear after you apply decals and they have dried. I have applied decals after clear.

I usually give my model a quick over with clear before decals and then after the decals settle, I clear coat it heavier then before, works good. Make sure your paint/decals are completely dry before clear.
