I just had to share this, I have taken this to two shows since it's completion. I won a 1st place at an IPMS show [syrcon 27], and won ' best mopar' at the Fulton show yesterday

I was quite surprised at both shows, but very happy to win.

I just picked-up this same kit at Michael's for like $12.00 with my 50% off coupon this past weekend. I like the purple, and may get another one to do in purple (to go along with my 9,000,000 other kits it seems), but I think the first will be a 'carbon copy' of yours.

You know what they say...imitation is the sincerest form of flattery and I'm hoping mine turns out half as well.

Love that colour, unfortunately I cant get any paint to match that over here in the UK, otherwise i would definitely have a couple in that colour.

Why don't you try Zero Paints?? All they need is the colour code. Or try a local auto-paint supply shop, same deal, provide the code & they can mix you a batch. ( in most cases they can get the code themselves, if they have a decent computer sourcing system for paint codes ) ?

Dan, thanks. I thought it was a pretty decent kit. I too have another one, built one as a kid in white, so thinking the second one will replicate the one I did as a kid.
