berr13 Posted July 7, 2014 Posted July 7, 2014 Just started working on this, and in assembling the headers noticed that they were going to be a problem. The left side pipes make the first bend off the head at a sharp angle, and descend pretty much vertically, while the right side set have a more gentle bend off the head, and stick out farther from the block than the left side headers. I haven't gotten that far, but it looks like this will be a problem connecting to the side pipes, and it just looks odd. Anyone else notice this, or do I have the one and only kit with this weirdness?
Matt T. Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 Are the driver's-side pipes bent more aggressively to get around the steering box?
Brett Barrow Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 I haven't gotten into building mine, but I did notice that the side pipes aren't symmetrical either, so I'm assuming they worked it all out in the design and it was all done to clear the steering box.
freakshow12 Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 I was looking at this today as well but noticed a far worse problem. The distributor only has 6 leads and a coil lead....... Thought only the new cuda had this type of issue...( runs and hides) lol
