F16 gets a nose job

Got this from a friend, Plane crashed causing crack on starboard wing and the front tube taking a chunk out of the nose. Took a piece of mahogany and spliced it in and reshaped the nose, gotten this far with the putty on it,

The base was also damaged and the was fixed with longer screws

Nice save. The F16 is probably one of my favorite fighter aircraft.

You had your work cut out using mahogany.
