3men2s Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 This project was inspired on the famous 70's pernelli jones boss mustang that raced in the 70's trans am series. It is sad that trans am is dead but not in the harts of american mussle lovers. Thanks for all your help during this project. my first scratch built chassie.
mikelo Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 Nice job! Yea, its a shame we don't still have the TA racing, but it is great to see the influences today. Same car that inspired my build. Great job on the chassis. Great stance. Glad to see it got finished.
James Flowers Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 How about some pictures in the light ? I can not see much detail with those pictures. How about some chassie pictures?

NitroMarty Posted January 12, 2008 Posted January 12, 2008 Cool concept!!! I'd really like to see more pics of it taken in better lighting too please! Did you scatchbuild the front airdam??? I really like the looks of it! Also... Is that the stock hood in the backgroud and if so, does ot fit? Would look really good with a cowl induction style hood, IMHO.
3men2s Posted January 13, 2008 Author Posted January 13, 2008 Thank you for your observations...this was this morning at 5:00am I could not sleep so I worked on the car and took the photos and put the in the forum before the baby woked up. Do you know the Hot Wheels Camaro trans am racer. The spoiler is from that car, It is longer but just cut the edges to match mustang wheel opening. You can also the same bottom part of the bumper of the stang, cut and flip it and you can get a good loking shin.
