beginners modeling

wasn't there a threat from one of the more experienced builders to start a 'step by step' build thread? this may have been a month or so back. did it ever happen?

I remember someone asking if we thought it would be helpful but I never noticed if one has started.

If I remember right he was going to post the whole build through without comments. Then it was going to be pinned so that it would not go to the bottom of the list. They were going to lock it so that it did not end up 100 pages of our comments in between progress . I am not sure if we could comment after it was done or not. I think it is still a go.

I may be wrong but I was thinking it was Jantrix and he was going to do the build and post it as one complete tutorial and Harry did mention pinning it. I think it's a nice gesture and benefit to us all and the forum. I am looking forward to seeing this also but this Fall, I believe, was the timeline. Barring life and any other extenuating circumstances.
