Byron5150 Posted August 15, 2014 Author Posted August 15, 2014 One of the nicest engine bays I have seen in some time. Wow thanks for the amazing words man. I really appreciate it, I've spent a lot of time and hours into just the bay. And it's nice to hear you and others enjoy it. Byron,
Byron5150 Posted August 19, 2014 Author Posted August 19, 2014 Here's the charger slightly weathered. For a diorama I built specifically for this car. The trees are a little small but it's the only ones they had at my hobby store. I think I may make the push bar out of a pop can.
1 bad55 stan Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 Looks like its ready to jump that lake...Very nice build mate, dio looks the part too!!!
DynoMight Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 Will you weather the car? That'll add to the realism. Maybe some dust behind the wheels and on the rocker panels? Great job Byron. Looks absolutely amazing. At the right angle, the engine bay could pass off as a reference pic!
slusher Posted August 19, 2014 Posted August 19, 2014 Great display Byron. I would leave it as it sits looks so good...

Looks absolutely amazing. At the right angle, the engine bay could pass off as a reference pic! I did weather the car just using some fine dirt and a tad bit of water. I made ad some dirt dust for the wheels though. And thanks it will be my reference for an up coming car.
Byron5150 Posted August 20, 2014 Author Posted August 20, 2014 Great display Byron. I would leave it as it sits looks so good... Thanks Carl. I've never scratch built something like part wise. I'll try and make the push bar with metal . I think I'm gonna leave the hood arms off. Because it's easier to remove the hood. Great job! Thanks man
Mopar - D Posted August 20, 2014 Posted August 20, 2014 Byron excellent build and display. Your detail work shows very well.
