Painting with Alclad.

Has anyone ever tried spraying Alclad gloss clear coat over the black before spraying on the chrome

or polished aluminum?

When it comes to paint-related questions, a lot of us figure out what works best by buying a box of cheap white plastic spoons (Wal-Mart) and experimenting. Do everything to the spoon that you normally do when prepping a styrene body so the results will be as close as possible.

Hey Ken, yes I have tried that method not with the Alclad clear but have used testors clear over testors gloss black and personally I like the way it comes out I think you get a much smoother finish but that's just me and Monty is right just get you some spoons and experiment with different techniques.
