MikeBoyle Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 The LX turned turned out great. You have some photography skills there too.
Dragfreak Posted August 6, 2014 Author Posted August 6, 2014 Thank you everyone, the compliments are very encouraging! I forgot to attach some interior pictures so here's a few Thanks again!
Danno Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Excellent model, Jason. Love the color; sorry you don't.
LouO Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 I think "street car" is a bit of a stretch! LOL! I luv it!
508boricua Posted August 7, 2014 Posted August 7, 2014 Super clean! Great work. Are those rear tires the one's that came with the kit? I have this kit but the rear tires way too thin. The ones on your build look spot on.
Dragfreak Posted August 7, 2014 Author Posted August 7, 2014 Excellent model, Jason. Love the color; sorry you don't. Thank you Danno, I like the burnt orange color but this is just a tad light for me. I still think it looks great I think "street car" is a bit of a stretch! LOL! I luv it! It's definitely not a daily driver, but a pretty bad N/A 302 wouldn't be too bad driving around on the streetonce in a while, it would eat the valvetrain pretty fast. A deep pocket would be required for sure

The ones on your build look spot on. The slicks are NASCAR tires that I sanded the eagle lettering off, they are one of my favorites slicks I've ever had as they are very close to a 9" slick or so. I used the base LX kit for this, I wish I had the cowl hood out of the drag kit though.
Dragfreak Posted August 14, 2014 Author Posted August 14, 2014 Looks pretty nice to me! Thank you Bradley!
Dragfreak Posted August 17, 2014 Author Posted August 17, 2014 Here's two updated photos I took outside, this better shows the natural color of the paint
