Narampa Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 I used to drive this rig. I would like to build a kit. Any links to something like this would be appreciated. Trailer and pipe layer also.
Petetrucker07 Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 In a way, itll take a kit or 2, a resin conversion and a lot of modifications.
Thatswhatshesaid Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 (edited) GW trucks and Plaskit have the T800 hood conversion. The sleeper would have to be modified from the T600 kit. I can't tell if that's a straight cowl or a curved cowl. GW trucks has the straight cowl version and Plaskit has the curved cowl version. The curved cowl would use the T600 kit a straight cowl would use a AMT KW conventional. The trailer would have to be modified from the soon to be reissued lowboy kit and the pipe layer would take a lot of work. Best bet would be to start with the AMT bulldozer and go from there. The wide floats are available from several aftermarket sources. Bullbar would most likely need to be scratch built or heavily modified from a kit. The Revell T900 Australia would be a good starting point. Hope this helps. Is that a Canadian rig? Edited August 4, 2014 by Thatswhatshesaid
Thatswhatshesaid Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 I couldn't remember if GW trucks had cabs. I thought P&P pulled his T800?

I made P&P pull my T800 conversion kit and all my products from him selling them. If you need a T800 cab conversion I have them. Send me a PM. Bill Drennen Bill Drennen Model Trucks
