This is really looking good Fred. I used that same engine and a few other drive train parts from the 07 in a 60 ford starliner restomod I did awhile back. I posted it in the under glass section back in the early summer. The 07 engine should really make your build stand out.

Thanks guys. Jim, I saw that project you did and love it! Should have some updates today. Got wrangled into helping a buddy shingle today : (. Paying me with steak and beer so.... Lol. I got the front end set up and got the stance I was looking for. I went stock k member but modified it quite a bit. I like the look of the kit tubular piece but it's fiddly and to get the stance I wanted required a ton of work with a sacrifice in strength. Also from my 1:1 experience with tubular k members on a street car they are not so fun. Noisy, unstable on bad streets and just generally scary. Maybe the new ones are better but I'm not sold on them as my cars are 90/10 split between street and drag strip. Oh , driving on skinnys up front is a whole new game in itself. Lol

Fred you are doing a bang up job on this build buddy... I love it... I have picked up a couple of these drag versions too,,, going to do an outlaw 10.5 and maybe another one similar to this... the color is banging on this one... where did you get the paint....

Bit of an update, having multiple bodies sure saves paint! Mini tubs are in, all trimming of rear seat and interior panels complete, trans crossmember is in, final engine placement is set. It's really starting to come together now. The paint can start to fly once I fab up headers and full exhaust including the trademark lx tailpipes but in full 3".

It's full 3 inch. Tailpipes will be similar to the ones used on an IRS cobra that run under the rear axle. Headers were a tough fit so I went with stock manifolds which is no problem on these as they can make well into the high 800s hp wise on stock manifolds. Still have to add a driveshaft loop then I can blow it all apart for paint. I like to work out all my gremlins early. Thanks for looking
