angelo7 Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 (edited) This is a great kit to modify and learn new tricks. The box shown is this kit. This is my third one. It will be a single axle , day cab rig. I'm planning to paint the chassis red also but looking at these pictures, I'm beginning to like the white color. I even thought about a blue chassis. Not sure yet. I removed about 1 1/2 inches from the frame. The back of the cab is part of the sleeper made to fit and filled around with putty. Will get back with more pictures as I progress. Petetrucker07 Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 The white looks good. I did the same thing to my revell 359, about 1 1/2" out of the frame. Its a shame the 5th wheel plate is molded with the frame. Very cool little truck
kilrathy10 Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Definitely, a great model to experiment with.....Awesome.....Great job on the frame....
Tesla Posted August 22, 2014 Posted August 22, 2014 Nice work so far...these kits offer a lot of possibilities
Kostas Parchas Posted August 24, 2014 Posted August 24, 2014 Nice to see a snap tite converted to a single drive. Looking at it, red cab and white frame looks cool! Kostas.
angelo7 Posted August 24, 2014 Author Posted August 24, 2014 Thanks! I'm leaning to a white frame now.

Chariots of Fire Posted August 27, 2014 Posted August 27, 2014 That's cool. Pete shorties aren't seen much around here. Might look nice with a dump body!
