No more calls, please, we have a winner!

I'm glad you like it

That song isn't well-known as it was an early vinyl EP release and wasn't included on the album "Spring Session M" which had several hits including Words and Destination Unknown

Words played on my local FM station at the time, and it's on my copy of Spring Session M.

"One, Two, Three, Four"......... :D

Nah, just kidding on that one....... Here's one to guess....

"Burning, I feel a burning in my stomach,

I wanna know if I'm a gonna make it,

If I don't, just spread my ashes,

If I do, just spread your mind"...........

there is a LOT of mediocre "music" apparent here. People really listen to this stuff?

jb

A lot of what I listen to is instrumental jam-band stuff..... Perpetual Groove, some of Les Claypool's bands have a lot of long instrumental songs, and of course Phish, who most guys here don't listen to, so noone would ever guess the lyrics........... :)

haven't been here in a while, so here is an 80's hit (man I hate this song, heard it on the way in this morning...)

But shoot it in the right direction

Make making it your intention-ooh yeah

Live those dreams

Scheme those schemes

Got to hit me

Hit me

Hit me with those laser beams

here is a song by a very famous group that I feel gets no credit....

Baby, although I chose this lonely life

It seems it's strangling me now

All the wild men, big cigars, gigantic car

They're all laughing at the lie

Wow, not their best by far but a Fun Tune - The Show Must Go On, by Three Dog Night. I always liked those folks.

Who appointed you chief music critic?

Ever think that maybe some other people might not like the stuff you like?

Sheesh...

but she never stopped to reflect,

The course that she's on, where ever it leads,

An awesome song that I guarantee noone will guess.... ;)

You forgot The Boston Rag (one of Fagen and Becker's favorites), Your Gold Teeth, and FM is pretty good..............

Don't like any of those. Especially not FM.

You can try to run, but you can't hide from what's inside of you."
