You're close, Harry.... It was Screamin' Jay Hawkins' song, then Nina Simone, but the Creedence version is the best! They kinda made it their own.........

I know It was Screamin' Jay Hawkins. Marilyn Manson did a cover back in '94.

Ya know Snake, All I could think of during the first portion of that was someone in a Toga needed to grab that Guitar and beat that Guy severely around the head and shoulders with it, and once the Guitar was rendered useless return it stating "Sorry"........ :rolleyes:
