It got this kit cheap at micahels, I have had the photo etch set for it for a while now but I have not had the kit to use it. I plan on building it as close as I can to a perfect factory replica. I must add it is going to be my first time trying photo etch so wish me luck.

Thanks Ben I'm going to try my best there are some parts missing form the pe like the brakes and some other small pieces my two paint ideas I really like the white with black wheels on the r8

I've built this kit as well as the Spyder version. If you've glued that rear fascia to the body already you're going to have major problems getting the chassis underneath it, without snapping it ( rear fascia ) off.

This is going to be a great kit to watch! Be sure to keep us updated id love to see how it turns out. Have you ever thought about doing a matte murdered out r8 I have to say it's a really sexy look for the car or a charcoal grey that's also a really nice color

Black is the new chrome and white is the new black. I like the white body on black wheels. Looks tough.
