I just picked this trailer up today. My mind is goin round and round and round trying to decide what truck i should build for it. The trailer will be rollin on super singles. I do know the truck will be a day cab for sure. So what should it be, pete, road boss, western star, international, autocar. Suggestions would be greatly appreciated

You could ask 100 different truck modelers & get 100 different answers. Everyone has there own personal favorites. I'd go with a Kenworth, myself; but I do like the idea of the Mack or even the Autocar.

If it were mine I'd pair it up with an International Paystar 5000 or a Diamond Reo with a set back axle conversion. Or maybe I'd go with a Ford Aeromax 106 converted to a day cab. But I can't shoot down any of the ideas others have already suggested.

Ive even thought of makin a 5 or 6 axle truck out of it. But that went out the window once i got the super singles. I know the truck wont be stretched. I have another ca hauler, but i can always use an excuse to buy another kit.

Personally, I would loose the front axle and make it a tandem trailer. It looks to short of a trailer to be a tri-axle. Just my opinion. I vote either Western Star or ihc.

I do agree Sean, the frame does look bulky. Im really leanin toward a sbfa reo. Im gonna be ordering pete hoods from Gary anyway.

Does anybody have a spare 1st drive axle, the 1 with both in/output driveshafts. Kinda gettin some creative gears turnin now.

As far as the kits go, the hoods, frame rails, fuel tanks, battery boxes, and interiors are different. The Reo has cast spoke wheels on all axles, the White has Alcoas on the front.
