Chuck Most Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Stumbled across this while looking for some reference pics, and thought it was too cool not to share. http://bangshift.com/general-news/videos/awesome-video-a-1967-documentary-that-tells-the-tale-of-a-diamond-reo-dump-truck-that-conquered-the-african-safari-rally/

GLMFAA1 Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Very interesting about the truck, When I first saw the Hot Rod magazine article about the mercs I found the AMT Caliente (flower power series/ craftsman series) and used the rally pack from the Falcon kits and made up other items, These were the only CA plates I had back then, The project got stopped at the decal stage and to celebrate the 50th anniversary I am posting pictures of my unfinished project greg
Chuck Most Posted October 7, 2014 Author Posted October 7, 2014 Cool! That Mercury's on my to-do list for a few years, and now the Diamond Reo has been since I saw this video.
