ismaelg Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Hello gang! Just a quick note to say hi! Many of you may not remember me. I'm Ismael "the Corvette guy" Gonzalez and I used to be very active in the hobby and this forum. I can't believe it, but it's been 5 years since I worked on a model, almost 6 years since I last worked on a model car.... Life has been really busy and it seems will continue so. So no, I'm not back in the hobby yet... However, a year ago I took apart a very worn Hot Wheels car and last week (almost a year to the day) I sprayed primer on it. I know that doesn't count much but who knows? I may paint it in the next 3 years! Just wanted to say hi to everybody! Best Regards!
Lownslow Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 I was wondering what happened to you lol, just up and dropped off the face of the earth.
peter31a Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Hey Ismael! Good to hear from you. I miss seeing updates from the Corvette garage. Hope you can back to it sooner than 3 years. Glad to see you're doing alright but just busy. Take care.
Bill Eh? Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 Great to see you back. I still remember the absolutely amazing C5R that you completed.
Greg Wann Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 It is good to know you are well. I ran across your Corvette site with some amazing builds. There have been a lot of Corette kits released since you last built. Maybe a snap kit will get you back at the bench. LOL
ismaelg Posted September 25, 2014 Author Posted September 25, 2014 Thanks! I just opened a thread in the diecast section about this warm-up experiment...
