dougwintz Posted September 22, 2014 Author Posted September 22, 2014 The more I post these, the more I realize I've got to start scribing / treating the panel lines. Oh well, that's the thing about this hobby, there's always something else to learn.
unclescott58 Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 I'm curious. Why do you called them "Birds"? Scott
CJ1971 Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 (edited) I'm curious. Why do you called them "Birds"? Scott Technically he's incorrect, Scott. Neither is a 'bird. Both are Dodge Charger Daytonas. The Plymouth Superbird is NOT the same car as the Daytona & shouldn't be referred to as a "'bird". Edited September 23, 2014 by CJ1971
6bblbird Posted September 22, 2014 Posted September 22, 2014 "Technically" neither one is a bird. They are both Dodges. Regardless, they are both very well done! WF
unclescott58 Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Thank you guys for clearing that up. That had been the first time I had ever heard of Daytonas being called "Birds". In fact I have never heard of Roadrunner Superbirds being called just "Birds". Daytonas were Daytonas. Superbirds, Superbirds. I'm of the old school were Birds referred to mainly Thunderbirds in the automotive vernacular. Scott
DeeCee Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 2 sweet looking Dodge's mate, love them both. !!
