Chu Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 I always like truck since I was a kid close to my home there was a warehouse with different tractors different trailers and I was curious about it. One day my neighbor show me His collection of cars and trucks model and I love it. But since I have no money I couldn't start until a few years now. Let me tell you something you are great model builders and I'm learning good advice from all of you. Well it seems like I need to wait for a while to work on the resin stuff since I need to develop my skills like a modeller first and then built it. P.S. I'm from Puerto Rico so I'm are a Spanish speaker first!! so my apologies for any writing mistake. thanks My truck is veryyyy simple build. Pretty much outside the box the only change was the rear rims and a small diamond plate on the back of the truck.i did not paint the cab because I do not wanted to ruin over painting ( because of the lack of knowledge) and added a amt road boss stripes. Sorry for the quality of the photo. I use my exacto knife and cutting the center of the rim. That's what i looking for to add the two hole rims This is the product. The only bad thing that I do was to glue bob the the stick of the chrome rims to the two hole rims. This is the result. Engine ready!!! Just a little details!! interiors ready!! Thanks for looking!!
chunkypeanutbutter Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 There's a rig section underneath for rig builds. Looks good so far. Do you do weathering yet?

Old Buckaroo Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 That is a good looking rig, the two holes really make it stand out. Looking forward to seeing more trucks from you in the future.
Jim B Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 Nicely done. I like the 2-hole wheels on the rear as well.

Chu Posted September 24, 2014 Author Posted September 24, 2014 Thanks to all of you!!! It means a lot to me that modelers like you like my builds. I will post photos of the other models that I have all ready done. I also going to show some pictures of my progress in four trailer projects that I'm doing in this past few months. I'm going to let you know in the next weeks.

Wagoneer81 Posted September 25, 2014 Posted September 25, 2014 Now that's a nice, Plain-Jane freight hauler... Looks like what I'd be driving. I like a no nonsense workhorse...
Chu Posted September 25, 2014 Author Posted September 25, 2014 Hey, Jesus, I'm from Puerto Rico (Caguas) also. I'm in the States now. Saludos Angel, I lived close from Caguas I'm from Aguas Buenas. You ask me about the two holes rims. Are you interested in one of them? I have a extra set and I'm not going to used.
rsxse240 Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Your doing fine, they moved it for you. You're doing a great job on the truck too. I see you have a reference photo there. Are you going to be using black paint?

Are you going to be using black paint? I was going to use purple in the cab but I wasn't experienced enough I opt to left the cab in the original white plastic color. I'm goin to post some picture of my other trucks in the next week if the weather let me do it.
FullPowerGarage Posted October 13, 2014 Posted October 13, 2014 Cool truck, simple but cool! Good job
tbill Posted October 14, 2014 Posted October 14, 2014 that looks great! don't be afraid to let the paint fly, if it comes out bad, or not to your liking, you can remove it fairly easily and try again. I have re-done a few paint jobs, once you get it figured out, the sky is the limit. great build!
Gimlet6 Posted October 19, 2014 Posted October 19, 2014 Nice job Jesus. I am building this kit right now. Just can seem to decide on a paint scheme.
