jdhog Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 I'm finally getting back into model building. This is the Hayden Proffitt kit. It is going to be my version of a '62 Bel Air drag car. I had started this car sometime back and got side tracked by other things. I think I quit on it because the paint turned out horrible. First thing I had to do was to start the body work. I found another hood off another '62 Bel Air project. I almost went with this hood just for the heck of it. But, in the end, I decided to go with a matching colored hood. And here we are today. I have the car painted and ready to foil. I have started on the motor. Just got the plug wires ran. This is a lot of fun. Any comments are appreciated.
chunkypeanutbutter Posted October 1, 2014 Posted October 1, 2014 That's a great color. Is this going to be a weekend dragster or a sponsored car?
