I have been looking for a set of correct wheels/tires for the Fujimi 1968 GT40 P1075. I found LeMans Miniatures has a set, actually 2 sets; ACW124005(1968) and ACW124002(1969). They show a photo of the ACW124002(1969) kit, but not the other. Does anyone know the difference between these 2 kits? The ACW124002(1969) sure looks like the 1968 wheels/tires. Am I missing some subtle difference or the ACW124005(1968) completely different? Not sure which to get for this vesion of the Fujimi kit.

I bought a set of the 1969 Mk I BRM wheels and a set of the Mk IV wheels from LeMans Miniatures a while ago and they look great.

But I don't know the difference between the 124002 and 124005 sets...maybe the width and the tires are different...otherwise I don't have a clue as they used BRM wheels both years.
But you can shoot them an email and ask.

The 69 tires are wider and Firestones. If I remember correctly, the 68 car ran Goodyears. I have both sets from LMM and they are super nice! Well worth the $ to me.

The kits and parts from LeMans Miniatures are all first rate. Very well done, I've been very impressed with my GT40 tires/wheels and I have a complete kit, full detail of the 69 LeMans Ford Gt40.
