Ariel Posted January 22, 2008 Posted January 22, 2008 Any one know if they found a hotel yet and or other info ? I know they have the new place and sounds great also no info on the site. Just wondering. Try and PM Tom Geiger he has been working with a hotel trying to get a great price for this event. I know he was looking that x-mas week between x-mas and new years. Ariel
Ariel Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 Hey Tom Just got an e-mail today from a tri-state member that told me that Tom Geiger could not get a hotel for the NNL East. He will have to wait until 2009 to do this. For what I hear the old hotel is only 8 miles away from the new location. I'm pretty sure that there are closer ones. Ariel
bobss396 Posted February 11, 2008 Posted February 11, 2008 I had wanted to come the night before too for the NNL EATS. Even though I'm only an hour away. Oh well, there's always 2009. I know they had a mad dash to get the event hall lined up, let alone anything special. But just think of a new place with MORE vendor room, 2 weeks longer to save up $$$ and 8 miles less (for some of us) to drive. Bob

Ariel Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 We can find a local restaurant pick and hour we all meet there and have a blast. o and better food. Also find a common hotel and raid the place.
Howard Cohen Posted February 12, 2008 Posted February 12, 2008 I was talking to BobDude the other day about this. I said just book a hotel or motel close by and make sure you have a place to stay. As for Friday Night Eats, I wonder what would happen if everyone just picked a hotel and met in the hotel lobby 200 guys sitting around gabbing about models and cars...or maybe we'll all go to Tom's house. We could take turns driving his Barracuda

Paul C. Anagnostopoulos Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 (edited) I made a reservation at the Wayne Inn, which is right nearby. Has anyone else made a reservation? At the old Parsippany Holiday Inn, perhaps? ~~ Paul Edited February 14, 2008 by Paul C. Anagnostopoulos
Andy Wyatt Posted February 14, 2008 Posted February 14, 2008 I made a reservation at the Ramada Inn just in case...if a host hotel is found I can always cancel.

ROFLOL actually I don't need a green card ever since you adopted me. Don't forget your wooden dentures this time. Tom is bringingg all the left overs from last years NNL Eats. The bread maybe a little bit to hard for you.
