ajulia Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 Hello there friend! Just wanted to say that your collection is very nice I have seen some awesome builds come from your posts! I am a Chevy boy so those stuck out the most to me but there all great and keep em' coming. Thanks for the pics!!! Peace Ajulia
Canada Jeff Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 I remember seeing a photo of a mid-century Merc in The Rodders Journal recently that had one gold tooth. Is that where you got the inspiration for yours, or is this a "great minds think alike" thing? Very nice work. I like 'em!
crispy Posted January 23, 2008 Posted January 23, 2008 Albert, I really love your fat black sled. That is just too cool! You've got some great Mercs in your collection. Chris
Raul_Perez Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 Albert, Great looking builds!! Do you have a team of people building for you?! You must have quite a large collection of finished models!!
fordsixty Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 your entire collection is just outstanding. nice work. just one question, did you build scale airport hangers, like jay leno's, to store all those babies?
mr moto Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 Great stuff! I think Mercury styling (despite all the attention to 49's) has generally been under-appreciated. Your '59 is stunning and your '62 sure points out how classic that design was!
James Flowers Posted January 24, 2008 Posted January 24, 2008 One really nice collection . I love all those 60's Mercury's . I wish they would make some reissues of those.
Fisher61 Posted January 25, 2008 Posted January 25, 2008 Thanks for sharing your collection of Mercurys, not often seen in the 1/25th world! The '62 is one of my favorites, my brother had a '62 hardtop when I was about 10yrs old. I loved those jet-tube taillights and I swear to this day that it was the smoothest riding, rattle free car I've ever rode in!
