Hello! Just thought I'd make a quick post to say hi on this awesome looking forum!

I'm a diecast collector mainly. I collect vintage Lesney Matchbox cars, as well as restoring and customizing them. I built a few plastic models years ago, but have largely gotten away from that side of the hobby, till now!
I dug a model out of the box and have started working on it, and remembered how much fun model building can be. I'll be posting a thread about it soon.

I'm a broke college kid and flight instructor, so I don't have the high end tools and paints that most of you guys do, but I make do with what I've got! I've got a pretty decent following on my diecast restorations, I'm pretty proud of my skills there, and I'm hoping they will transfer over to plastic models haha. The show is only once a year sadly,but we do have monthly meetings, grab some info here. I'm also a poor college kid by the way, not many people our age build.
