Funkster
If I use Model Master custom lacquer systems for a base primer can I spray over that with HOC paint?
StevenGuthmiller
If I use Model Master custom lacquer systems for a base primer can I spray over that with HOC paint? I've never used HOC paint. is it an automotive type lacquer paint? If so, I wouldn't chance it. If I use Testors primers, I go over them with several coats of Duplicolor primer.......It's a long story! Steve
Ace-Garageguy
Test what you want to do NOT ON YOUR MODEL first. Use the underside of parts that won't be seen. There are so many possible variations in kit plastic, your particular prep and primer, and the chemistry of the various products that YOU SHOULD ALWAYS TEST FIRST. Somebody here may have done exactly what you want to do, but it's still always safer to TEST YOURSELF.
High octane
Yes you can, as I've done it before with good results.
