I am currently building the fenderless highboy version of this kit, using the AMT repop of the factory stock '34 that was available at Michaels about 10 years ago.

My kit has the front splash aprons (incorrect name, I dunno, but they are the pieces between the hood sides and the frame rails on a fenderless '34) that have the square cut-outs for the IFS of the street machine version.

My question is - Did the kit always have these, or does the Michaels repop have the street machine parts since it was molded after the street machine version?

If there ever were solid aprons, and you built a fendered '34 - Can you send them to me?!

Thanks. gang!

Just take a similar sized piece of styrene as the opening and fill it in if you want an apron without an opening.

Yeah, I'll have to do that.
