Deano Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 What is the difference between the 1967 and 1968 Camaro. They look the same to me.TIA Major differences? Grilles are different, tail lights are different, 67 has vent windows (68 doesn't), 68 has side marker lights (67 doesn't). There are other minor trim differences and mechanical differences but, yeah, they're basically the same car.
Guest Posted December 19, 2014 Posted December 19, 2014 (edited) Just do a google or bing image search, you will see the diffrences for yourself. Dean is correct on the major diffrences. Edited December 19, 2014 by midnightprowler
Craig Irwin Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Also staggered rear shocks and upgraded interior.
Greg Wann Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 A 67 is the easiest for me to spot since it was the only year of first generation Camaro to have the vent windows.
BubbaBrown Posted December 20, 2014 Author Posted December 20, 2014 Thanks guys I forgot about the vent windows. Most Gm had them in 1968 and lost them in 1969 thats how I can tell the chevelle's quickly. Thanks again.
lordairgtar Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Bubba, plus the bumpers on a 68 Chevelle have those ribs just under the headlights.
