mackinac359 Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 I started the hood for this back in the summer of last year but stalled on how to fabricate the fender shape. In early January I figured out how to make the fenders and came up with the hood. Once the hood was figured out, I sent the hood to AITM to cast in resin. I then modified the cab and chassis of an Italeri 377 kit The finished 2008 386. I have more photos on my site. Thanks for looking! Tim
BigBlockLyle Posted January 31, 2008 Posted January 31, 2008 Cool. Great job Tim. I got the hood for my 359 last Tuesday.
Jim B Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 Tim, Looks really nice! You sure can make a lot of different trucks with the Italeri 377, can't you. Now, if I can just find a 127" hood for my RoG 359, I'd be happy!
Jason Posted February 1, 2008 Posted February 1, 2008 Tim, Beautiful truck and conversion!! Will the hoods be available to the general public? Im very interested in purchasing one, i have a "spare" 377 sitting around. Thanks
Old Albion Posted February 2, 2008 Posted February 2, 2008 Tim, Superb!!! Very Impressed. If AITM produce the conversions I will be buying a couple for definate. I had a look on the AITM web site. Dave Natal has a great selection of kits and aftermarket parts and the quality looks very good. Will definately be doing business with AITM in the near future.
wiremonkey Posted February 3, 2008 Posted February 3, 2008 As usual, Tim rolls out another masterpiece from the mini-Pete plant!!!!!
