Thanks Sean.

I worked on the trailer wheels tonight. I hollowed out the wheel backs by drilling holes and cutting out the remainder. Using the square hole drums from the gravel trailer kit, I cut off the outer lip. I then filed them down to the square protrusion. I then glued this to the back of the tri spoke.

You sure stuffed it in ther. You pert near have a doghouse like a COE in there. It does look at home in there. The more I look at that blue on here, the more it glows, I like it.

Yeah, next time I will only do this motor swap on a long hood.

Super nice !!!

In the earlier pics, where you painted the tractor rear wheels, it looks like you toned down the "high-gloss" of the vinyl tires.

Did you spray the tires with something ?

Thanks

No, I actually didnt do anything to them. There just old out of the tire box. Sean(Old Buckaroo) uses a small sand blaster with glass bead to dull his tires. I usually take some sand paper to the tread, but eventually I will probably blast mine also.

Thanks Tom. I moved the firewall back about .200, and the radiator forward just a tad so it will fit tighter against the open grill. I need to do some comparison measurements to the snap kit to see why the engine won't fit in the AMT kit.

I had a little(very little) build time this weekend, as I spent most of it working on my broke down 1:1 GMC. Anywhoo, I didn't want to jump back on the Mack so I tinkered with the Pete a bit. I finally got the 3 spoke trailer rims painted, and I modified some Mack rear fenders to fit the Pete. The fenders were sectioned and shortened. They will be painted to match the front fenders. Thanks for looking.

is your ca the new re issue because if it is what did you do about the kit not having hood hindges

It's an original issue, but neither had hinges. I used some extra Italeri hinges and drilled out the front of the spring hangers. The tab on the bottom of the grill needs to be cut off also.
