57peppershaker Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Please can somebody post pics if the interior door / rear 1/4 panels for the Revell 56 del ray sedan ? I want to see the panel trim detail. I'm collecting parts for a 1;25 of my 57 Chevy sedan. It has door trim from a 56, straight chrome instead of the 57's curved.
espo Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 You might try Googleing '56 Chevrolet to see what may turn up. I'm not sure but I think there is a big difference between the '57 210 model interior and the '56 Del Ray interior, the seat patterns for sure. .
Longbox55 Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 Note, this is an early brochure for '57. The side trim for the 210/Del Ray was changed for production to include the top trim, but not the aluminum insert, from the Bel Air. I know of no production 210s built this way, only a few pre production cars.
unclescott58 Posted January 25, 2015 Posted January 25, 2015 The 1954 through '57 Del Rays were just a vinyl trim package on the Two-Ten two-door sedans. Or as Chevrolet called them Club Coupes. They did not come with the same interiors as the other Two-Ten models. In 1958, for one year, it became a model line of its own. With both two-door and four-door sedan models. But, I got the impression Steve, that you were more interested in the Revell model part. Rather than the real car's trim. That I'm sorry to say, I can not help you with. Scott
57peppershaker Posted January 25, 2015 Author Posted January 25, 2015 Thanks for the replys Gents, and Scott yes you are right. Its the Revell panels I want to see, not the 1;1's. My 57 has a Glide custom split front bench, so its not a stock interior. The door panels are also custom but with the 56 stainless trim. I'm trying find pics of the Revell 56 parts to compare with the 57 150 & bel air parts.
57peppershaker Posted January 25, 2015 Author Posted January 25, 2015 Thanks Bill, just what type of pic I was looking for.
