I have already cut the front fenders but I am wondering how wide they should actaully be to keep with a 1:1.Not sure how much to actully add and any help wold be greatly appreciated.

cdnmodman Posted January 26, 2015 Author Posted January 26, 2015 (edited) Greg/Jim, thanks for the information, I was really surprised by the article that only 4 mm was added, but that makes it a little easier to work with. The plan for this one is a tandem axle tractor with the second axle being tag. Hopeflly will get some pics posted soon. Currently have another 1950 Ford on the go. That being a 1950 F6 COE single axle tractor. Picked up a nice Flinstone COE cab very inexpensive and that serves my by budget well these days !! Currently working on frame rails and running gear and and will get some pics posted as I get some more progress on it as well. Thanks again guys greatly appreciated !! Chariots of Fire Posted January 27, 2015 Posted January 27, 2015 Thanks also for this information! I have a cab of a 1952 F-700 that I want to build into a brush truck. We had two of them in our department and I have photos of them. For the first time I now have an idea of how to widen out the fenders!
