chadrob30 Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 Is there somebody that makes and sells the dog dish hubcaps for the '68 Roadrunner? I recently picked up the AMT kit and would like to build it as "no frills" as I can. Thanks.
martinfan5 Posted January 28, 2015 Posted January 28, 2015 I believe Scenes Unlimited has what you might be looking for http://www.scenesunltd.com/WHEELS.html

chadrob30 Posted January 28, 2015 Author Posted January 28, 2015 Thanks fellas. When I get home from work I will be ordering.
FASTBACK340 Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 These are the correct lug covers. As posted, Scale Equip. Ltd. is the source. http://www.seltd.net/ez-catalog/X344897/24/24625
om617 Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 If you can plate them yourself with Alclad or Spax stixx you can get two of these sets for the price of one set of hubcaps. The quality of the cast is very nice. I buy my Mopar stuff here and at Missing Link. http://www.ebay.com/itm/161541643609?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2648&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
gtx6970 Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 does the Johan 68 Fury police car have these hubcaps in it ?
1972coronet Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 does the Johan 68 Fury police car have these hubcaps in it ? Not in the versions I have ( "USA Oldies" , and some c.2000 revised-reissue ) . Every one that I've built over the last 25+ years has had flat-faced caps with a semi-raised circle in the centre . I'm not sure if any kit ever had 1968 & earlier Plymouth hubcaps ; nor have I ever seen 1967-1968 Dart hubcaps (and , no , the 1968 Charger hubcaps aren't correct for the same year Dart).
drball Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 I have a couple beautiful turned sets from defunct Automix. I wish they were still around.
drball Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 What about the set that came in the Johan police cruiser.
