FatBoyKuztoms Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 Is there anyone in the USA that sells Zero Paints or something just as good. I watched a YouTube video of someone using the micro filler gray primer from Zero Paints
martinfan5 Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 There is no one that sells Zero Paints in the USA, spot model is the only place right now where you can Zero Paints from shipped to the US, but its not cheap. The only thing close is Scale Finishes paint
Quick GMC Posted February 19, 2015 Posted February 19, 2015 I have used Zero and Scale Finishes. Scale Finishes has been excellent. I actually sent Zero an email about possibly becoming a US distributor after they requested people come forward on Facebook. They never bothered to return my email. I'm not in the modelling business, but I run an online store and I pack and ship every day. I was thinking i could setup a separate Zero-US website and start selling it.

Great product and great service. I have not used Zero Paints, so I dont want to say they are same, but my understanding is they are, as both are automotive paints, can you agree or disagree with me?, and would you say they are about the same? I have often thought about forking over the cash to get some from Spotmodel. As to Gunze Sangyo Mr. Surfacer 1000, great primer, it of my opinion that its almost better than Tamiya primers, but its not cheap, but worth the money , both the 1000, and 1500 goes on very smooth

The paint is great. The goto source if you want the older colors. The basecoats are great as well. Zero paints are almost entirely basecoat/clearcoat (mostly european car colors and accurate racing colors). Great paint. Offer nice prepackaged race colors offering 2 or more colors for a particular (multi-colored) car in one packaged. I think they are also color matched to the kit decals. Both are great. I guess it comes down to what you are looking for and who has what available.
