Chief Joseph Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 Here's a 1/12 version of my Indy Profile N50-15 tire that a customer in Australia asked me to make for him. He's okay with me selling pairs of them to others. Any interest?
MyBradKeselowski Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 I would be interested in 4 of them if they will fit the 1/12 69 Camaro..
Chief Joseph Posted February 24, 2015 Author Posted February 24, 2015 @Joe: The tread width is 1.35", the section width is 1.142", the outside diameter is 2.371", and the inside diameter is 1.2". The inside "rim" width is 0.97". @Steve: They would fit on the rear of a Camaro, but would look awfully weird on the front.
Ognib Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 That's very nice looking material they're made of. Nice work!
Jordan White Posted February 24, 2015 Posted February 24, 2015 I think if you were to produce a 1/12 scale version of a BFG Radial T/A in, say, a 255/60r15, then you could sell quite a few. I would certainly get a few sets, since its so difficult to find any aftermarket 1/12 tires that fit smaller wheels.
MyBradKeselowski Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Thanks for the info, I would want 2 of them then for the rear. Will the kit rallies or mags fit the tire?
Chief Joseph Posted February 26, 2015 Author Posted February 26, 2015 Will the kit rallies or mags fit the tire? No clue as 1/12 isn't my thing and I don't have that Camaro kit. If the kit wheels are about 1.2" in diameter and about an inch wide, they'd fit. Being rubber, they'll flex a little bit and accommodate slightly bigger dimensions.
