Kenny B Posted March 3, 2015 Posted March 3, 2015 William, Have I been living under a rock or what??? When did you build the KW? Did I miss something? Were you holding out? Where? Old build? New build? Very nice as always, WoW. Love it for sure.Would like to read more about her. Ken.
williamchevelleman1972 Posted March 3, 2015 Author Posted March 3, 2015 I built it a long while back and just decided to add some updated stuff to it. thank you very much for the compliments I try my best on these models. all the detailed parts like the wings and the rack in the back were scratch built same for the interior in the back. I had streched the frame as well. thanks for the complements and im glad you liked it!

Kenny B Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 William, They are both way to cool. Looks like a bit of frame sag on the W900. I had major sag on my Pete and ended up bending it to compensate for it. Good looking trucks.. Ken.
72 Charger Posted March 4, 2015 Posted March 4, 2015 William those two are fantastic. Could you tell me what parts of the conventional KW I need to build a COE please.
williamchevelleman1972 Posted March 5, 2015 Author Posted March 5, 2015 youll need to use just about the whole kit to build a cabover. when building the coe cab and interior the majority of it will need to be scratch built but youll still use parts off the cab like the doors, if you punch up my old post on the bj truck itll show more of how I built it if itll help any.
72 Charger Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 William what was the title of the bj and the bear build I could not find it?

kilrathy10 Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 Good stuff, Man.....Love the 1/16 scalers.....Both of them look awesome.....Paint schemes on both make them really stand out....
Mike77 Posted March 8, 2015 Posted March 8, 2015 I agree with William, the majority of the cab and interior, as well as the exhaust system, requires scratch building. I did this 1/16 KW Aerodyne years ago but I don't have any in-progress photos of the build...

What motor did you have in it and is that a decal that you made or did you paint it on?
tbill Posted March 11, 2015 Posted March 11, 2015 that's some killer looking builds guys! wow, just wow! I am amazed at how big these things really are, saw my first one in person at a show last week, it dwarfed our 25th scale rigs! i'd love to build one, but where to put it when done????????????
Mike77 Posted March 13, 2015 Posted March 13, 2015 Your cabover looks great mike! What motor did you have in it and is that a decal that you made or did you paint it on? It just had the KW kit engine in it. I don't get hung up on what engines are in which trucks...as long as the rigs looks cool that works for me. The striping is just Pactra trim tape with clear coat over it.
