tom.ulmer
Hi All, just got back into modeling after a loooong time. I think the last time I built something was around 20 years ago at least. For the last 10 years or so Ive been racing RC cars regularly in the summer. I needed a new winter hobby and so I decided to give models a try again. Ive always enjoyed building just about anything (one of the reasons I like RC so much). So the first kit is a 67 Chevelle Prostreet I certainly learned a few lessons along the way so I cant wait to start the next project. I got the bug I can tell you that much as I already have a few kits lined up and plenty of paints and other building tools and items on the way. Here are a few pics I took along the way (be nice!) http://s15.photobucket.com/user/killabud/Model%20Cars/story

tom.ulmer
Thanks guys. I've learned a ton from these forums already. I have a handful of kits to build as well. Just starting a 67 vette that I'm building for my dad as a bday present. He had one of these cars for many years so I thought I'd build a replica for him. Speaking of, where can I get a set of 1/24-25 headphones? Pops corvette was so loud back in the day that he had headphones hooked up to the radio, lol. I'd love to get something I can sit on the passenger seat for that extra personalization.
