Alyn
I get the impression you're having a lot of fun with this one, Cory. The dash looks good. I assume real wood?
crazyrichard
well that wood on the outside of the bed , the dash that really brings more variation in the whole car !! , looks awsome this way i would almost say makea wooden frame on the roof see through like with no outer skin in the same wood / color that way it will all tie in together the diamond idea for the roof is also cool but making it a wood frame > hmm i think that would look sooo good
dimebolt
Thanks Alyn, and Richard. Yes Alyn, I'm having a blast with this one. All of the wood is real, from a 1/16th thick sheet of veneer laminate. Richard, I have been actually tossing around that very idea also. I think it would look great also. Also got the cab mounted, and shifter, and steering column with turn signal lever installed. Thanks for looking. Corey

Custom Mike
Every update makes this build that much cooler. The wood on the bed sides is a great touch, I love seeing an over the top style build like this once in a while!
dimebolt
Thanks Mike. This is my first rod, so I'm just trying out a bunch of ideas I've had brewing for a while. Just trying to make it as nice, and unique as I can. Corey

dimebolt
Finally got the chance to get some more done tonight. Scratchbuilt a battery with a wooden top cover, still have to add terminals, and wiring. Added a set of ladder bars. Got the radiator shell, and grill mounted. Ran the rest of the fuel line. Added pulleys, belts, and alternator. Thanks for looking. Corey

426-Hemi
Here is the set of headers I made for it tonight. This was a tricky set to make. A set of custom "Braided" headers, made from what looks to be solder, and on a Hemi, this is my kinda model and a GREAT modeler to make that all happen. LOVE the work on the fenders man!
