It was orange and many defects were evident . I rubbed/polished out the finish after dissasembly . The orange hue was from cigarrette smoke . The 'flame flake' or whatever Cadillac called it was a nice surprise . I fixed the flaws by detail painting . A saved junk Promo . I am more pleased and proud to have this rather than what I had started with . The trim is hand painted , not foiled .
